Hello all

I have been looking for a fast M.2 but i have heard that some M.2 are equivalent to ssds. I want to make sure I buy the correct and fast M.2. Could you suggest some products for me?

My motherboard is ASUS Z97-E/USB3.1 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I swear on Samsung ssd's, so I'd recommend the 970 Evo or evo Plus.

Plus is a little newer and faster but really only a little. 

I think with black Friday deals you can get the 1tb model for just around 100usd.

Not always.

SATA M.2 drives are made.

And M.2 drives aren't a new type of storage, it's just a new form factor. You can get converters from M.2 to SATA and SATA M.2 drives work exactly the same.
