I'm a Razer fan boy too, but I think I won't buy their new switch keyboard, I would prefer the old one, unless the one has drop price because of the Kalih switch.

I get the Quickfire Tk instead of a Blackwidow TE because rumour said it is not so good and I'm on a budget.  But still, I am gonna buy Blackwidow 2013 because didn't have a complete set still bother me a lot.

i feel the same way i would love if they sold the 2013 with browns cause that imo is the best

I watched linus' video, and being a razer "fanboy" i was a bit interested. Is it worth the extra money for the 2014 edition over getting blues from the 2013?

Not in the very least! Kailh switch used in the BWU 2014 is, imo, inferior to Cherry MX switch used in their BWU 2013. Don't buy into their market BS about their Kailh Green/Orange switch being the 'gaming' switch', they are just trying to maximise profit. Just check with NCIX US and found that the BWU 2014 is being sold at 150USD while the BWU 2013 at 140USD.....see? They are selling inferior Kailh switch keyboards at a higher price....talk about maximising profit! I find it sad that obviously, many would buy into their all fart and no shit marketing mumbo jumbo.

I totally agree. The manufacturing costs HAVE to be WAY lower when the switches are being made in China instead of Germany. I mean, everyone knows that German made stuff is quailty, and usually quite expensive.

It's fine to be a fanboy, I'm somewhat of an AMD GPU, Ducky and Topre fanboy myself, but if, for example, Ducky were to go this same route (using Kailh switches instead of Cherry and charging the same or more), I'd drop Ducky like a bad habit. Don't be taken advantaged of, there's brand loyalty and then there blind loyalty.......the former is fine, the latter is just being silly.
