Hey guys, just set up my custom loop about a week ago

Specs

XSPC - Tubing, ax 360 rad & raynstorm block

EK - 680 lightning block, fittings, pump d5, res, 240 xt & coolant

Fans - Noctua nf-12's & xspc

I have my CPU oc'd to 4.5ghz

I am runing prime 95, these temps seem high to me? all fans are running off noctua low noise adapters and y splitters.

build specs works best.

CPU model and voltage. (if running p95 on haswell yeah, it'll be toastier because p95 uses more voltage than necessary creating more heat)

PUMP? speed?

Prime does have a tendency to add volts as airdeano stated above, btw on that 4.5 ghz overclcok what volts are you putting through it. Also in real world scenarios, gaming, rendering what temps do you get?

Core - EVGA Classified 3 | i7 980x | 12GB Corsair Dominator GT | Lian Li P80 | Corsair 128 Neutron GTX | 2 x WD 500gb Velociraptor | Asus Xonar Xense | 2 x EVGA 590 | Enermax Platimax 1500

FYI - running a stress test to get temp readings isn't really valid IMHO. Those types of programs are meant to push your system to the edge, and therefore, yes, high temps, etc. Primarily I will use something like that to test if an overclock is stable.

Better test - run your favorite game for 30 mins and see what your temps are. That is much more real world and what really matters.

FYI - those temps to me are fine on Prime 95 - folding on my rig keeps the water itself at a toast 62C :)
