Compress video to fit on 1.44 MB floppy disk

Well, here's my attempt. 

 

The laptop's too shit to encode with AV1, so stuck with h265... and to fit in 1.44 mb had to go to 3fps and grayscale. But it should fit.

 

Got the audio down to ~ 1 MB, though with opus there's a lot of overhead (up to 7-9% is junk due to ogg container)

The AAC audio is better quality but around 50 KB more.

 

Can probably manage 10fps with AV1 in that bitrate.

You're not supposed to.

 

The forum software is stupid and automatically embeds any .MP4 file - it's just coincidence my audio only file has the mp4 extension.  You can see if you right click on player you may see "save audio as..."

 

The video is that 1.4 MB file.
