Budget (including currency): $5Kish +/-

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: We are looking to build a threadripper pc/server for our Security office. The question we are not clear on is the video needs to provide 9 x 55" 4K monitors with the streaming real-time video images associated with a CCTV system. Currently we have 3 desktops feeding 2 monitors each(6 monitors now) but are planning to expand to 9 monitors soon and instead of throwing more pc's into the mix want to build a robust machine with as many GPU's as needed to make this work. I cannot find anything online and our CCTV vendor doesn't have any suggestions either other than the multi-pc setup. The camera software opens new windows for each monitor so we will add ram as needed to make this stable.

Other details   We have a server based CCTV system(Digital Watchdog), we are looking for a display option only for the 9 screens as the Security computer has to run the Digital Watchdog client software so the suggested option wont work in this case as we have 380 cameras connected to the dedicated CCTV servers(3) located in our MDF.

Get somthing like https://www.amazon.com/TIGERSECU-8-Channel-Security-Recording-Included/dp/B078PQKMX2/ref=sr_1_19?dchild=1&keywords=security+cam+recorder&qid=1605800763&sr=8-19

Then use a splitter to output to multiple monitors.

This will work faster with less downtime and more importantly HELLA cheaper then getting the right PC hardware to do it.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

You want a video expansion card

I recommend Matrox
https://www.matrox.com/en/video/products/graphics-cards/m-series/m9188-lp-pcie-x16

But they dont do one which supports 4k unless you do SDI outputs but there stupidly expensive and youd have to convert back to a standard display connection.

Otherwise just buy a load of graphics cards. Id probably try and find some older second hand Quadro cards.
