HDD/SSD swap

Hello.

 

So I have 2 different laptops (1 Lenovo with an HDD and 1 Clevo with a SSD), and I would like to swap these discs. They are both 2,5´. Are they comatible? And if they are, what are the safety measures that I should have to swap them? In terms of eletricity, not touching certain areas etc.  Can someone help me out please?

Itshould work fine,nothing to really worry about

 

the os might not be happy, and have driver issues or not boot at all. Doing a clean install would fix any potential issues. Also licensing will be wierd, so have the key on hand.

Ok, thanks a lot! Just another question- I have 2 discs on both laptops (on the clevo I have an Nvme and a 2,5´SSD and on the lenovo I have the 2,5 HDD and 1 Nvme as well), and I freshly instaled windows on both of the laptops on the nvme disc, and have not touched/activated the other slower disc. So basically right now both my laptops don´t recognise the other dics yet, and windows runs fine on the nvme discs. Will I still have a problem even though I have nothing on the discs I wanna swap?
