POP OS randomly freezes and cant even do a tty.

Keyboard, mouse- nothing works. Work load is multiple Browsers, pdf viewer and its on a gnome. I installed kde but it happens there too although less frequently. Its more often when the system is in idle and i am elsewhere. Sometimes i can go tty and just exit. log back in though GUI and its fixed but sometimes even that doesn't fix it (especially on KDE).
