White keyboard owners - Looking for your experiences

Bugses

Hi LTT forum,

I'm considering buying a white keyboard this time, but I was wondering if any of you regret getting a white one? And if so, why?

Why would one regret it? If you keep your hands and/or keyboard dirty enough to make it stand out on a white board, it'll stand out on a black one, too.

Those are the experiences I'm asking about. I haven't had a white keyboard since the late 90s, so I really can't remember how it was.

I have a white blitzwolf kb1 rn, and its just as good as a black one. Only thing is that its easier to spot dust and dirt on it. But as long as you dont use it as a fork for your noodles it should be fine. Use air to blow it out once every month to keep it even cleaner. i dont regret getting a white one at all.

Well I'm using a Focus 9000 from the 90s and it doesn't get very dirty because I keep my hands clean and try to avoid eating messy foods near my PC.

There's no special issue with white keyboard ... the case and plate won't get that dirty ... the keycaps will depend of what you are doing while using it ... I would not eat chocolate while gaming ... but then again you can just remove the keycaps and wash them.  I used retro look white and grey keycaps set for a while and they are still exactly the same as when I bought them.  I'm also using a white g305 mouse and after one year it's still in pristine condition, no spots or stain at all.  Also the white is still as white as when I bought them, no yellow at all.
