Today I noticed that when my GPU should be with high usage, it keeps it low.

Examples:

Witcher 3 high crowded area - 67 fps, 60~70% GPU usage;

Witcher 3 low crowded area (like a small house) - 90 fps, 99% usage;

Phasmophobia - 80~144fps but always at 60-70% usage

Tried underclock, overclock... Nothing seems to change this behavior. Shoudn't it be with a higher usage?

DDU it and re install the latest driver

also check your graphics card in gpu-z and see that if your hitting power limit or not

If asking for help, provide more info.. (also keep this in mind for future posts)
Specs of your PC (Detailed if you can plz)?

For all we know your rocking a Phenom2 with a 1050Ti,.. what do you have?

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Are you being bottlenecked by the cpu by chance?

For example. If I play stalker clear sky. I can stand in the middle of the starting camp and only get 120fps, even though I'm only using 50% gpu. That happens because It maxes out the main cpu thread.

So it's possible that witcher is being bottlenecked by the cpu. You're only as fast as your slowest component.

have you tried DDUing your GPU drivers and re-installing them?

Yes, I did. Nothing changed.

What's your framerate like at Ultra? Also, what resolution are you playing at?

Depends. In Witcher, crowded areas 70~75, sometimes drops to 60, and them the gpu usage drops too. Non-crowded areas like forests I can get 95~100 and GPU usage at 99%.

Phasmophobia I get 220 fps in the lobby at 60~75% GPU usage, never more than that. Yesterday I got like 80 fps in High School map and stiil the GPU usage never got past 75%.

Both at 1080p.

Have you disabled Nvidia HairWorks in the graphics settings?
