You would only want to use onboard graphics, if your videocard does not have enough on its own.

It's preferable to use the videocard for all your monitors though.

 

And keep in mind:

- Some CPU's dont have video out

- If yours does have video out, you need to specifically turn on the video out, which gets turned off by default if you have a videocard installed.
