Hi i have a question

 

my friend has a OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W and he has a question about a psu

it is a modular psu and now is the question: can you use cables from different brands in the psu

no, the connector on the psu is proprietary, and wont work with other psu's

No, you need to get the original PSU cables, or get sleeved cables that are designed for your exact PSU. Alternatively, you can get high quality sleeved extension cables that are universal and you plug it to the original PSU cables while the original PSU cables are connected to the PSU.
