Removing Paint From Bed Sheets?

I'm from the US but I"m outside the US most of the year.  I went back to the US for a bit ... and because of that... the person in charge of the building outside the US said they wanted to fix a few things while I wasn't here such as painting the walls and everything etc.  I came back here and noticed that I have white paint on my bed sheets.  I knew they were going to paint my place but forgot to just put my bed sheets and everything in a plastic bag.

 

 

It's white paint and it looks stained already.  It looks like wite out so so speak.  I also went and hand washed my bed sheets and hanged them just now... only to remember... I had white paint on it.  I noticed the wet paint weeks ago when I came back... but did not thought about it right before I washed it.

 

 

Can someone tell me what I should do now?  The paint was probably set in the bed sheets for at least a month already minimum.  When i came back to my apartment here, I notice they put my bedsheet back on my bed but I see white paint marks mostly around the edges.  But did I make the situation worst by washing it?  I don't have a washing machine and due to covid... i didn't want to bring my clothes in general to a washing machine so i been hand washing my clothes since covid.  Now is my bed sheets basically stained?  I read online that you should try to get rid of the paint as soon as possible but it also say you need to know what type of paint was used... which I have no idea at all.  Thanks.

i hope you find a solution, i have the same problem with some sheets

Paint thinner will remove the paint but its not at all great for the sheets.

 

The painter is a real amateur that did not care, painting is real easy to do. Get money from the painter to buy new sheets.
