Budget (including currency): £500 for upgrades

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games: Satisfactory, Overwatch, Watch Dogs Legion, Software: Premiere Pro/After Effects & Other Broadcast Software (vMix, Resolume etc)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hey guys, I'm currently looking into upgrading as much as my PC as possible. I'm currently using the following spec sheet: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/thomasred20/saved/GsQKZL (I have also recently upgraded to 16GB's DDR3, but will likely have to replace with DDR4 for upgrades anyway & have now got a Samsung 850 EVO SSD )

This is a transplanted system, with the CPU/Mobo/PSU originally from a pre-build Chillblast computer in 2014. I most recently upgraded the GPU & got a new case at Christmas in 2017. (I also have peripherals I need already, I currently have 2x1080p monitors, but would like to upgrade in the future)

The PC is currently struggling to play my large Satisfactory save, as well as being underspecced for the new Watch Dogs Legion, which I want to play. I could also do with better specs for broadcasts & post-production work, which I occasionally do at home.

I'm technical, but do not keep up with the release of new PC parts etc, so would love advice on what I should go for with the limited upgrade budget I have.

Thanks,

ThomasRed20

Here ya go:

The 1060 is a decent card still, beating a 1650, so I got a new cpu, mobo, memory, psu, and threw in a ssd for you, because you are living witout one, which is like jumping torturing yourself.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Ah annoyingly I think I edited the post just after you seen this! I noticed I hadn't included my SSD on my part picker list! I've had a 512 GB Samsung 850 EVO since this year, where can I spend the money saving that?

Interesting.

According to https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-4690K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-3-3100/2432vsm1148404, my processor is actually better than the one you just recommended? Is that correct or is the website just wrong?

userbenchmark is highlly intel skewed. your cpu is a older, less efficent 4c/4t cpu, with ddr3 ram. the r3 3100 is a much more efficent, 4c/8t.
