Got a completely new setup today that I'm trying to get to post, but I'm only getting black screen.
The setup is as follows:
Aorus B550M Elite flashed to newest version with Q-Flash Plus
Ryzen 7 5800X
G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16Gb 3600Mhz
Samsung 970 Evo 1Tb NVMe
MSI Gaming X 1080
Antec 750W 80Plus Gold PSU
Phanteks P400 case

everything looks to boot up just fine, all (including gfx card) fans spin as they should. The RGB kicks in it's rainbow mode. But there's only a black screen.
I hooked up an old speaker to the speaker header to listen for any beeps, and there's 1 long and what would seem to me atleast as 3 short beeps. According to gigabyte's site, those beeps mean it's a graphic card issue. But I have tried the same card in a different pc and it works fine there. I have also tried with an older R9 390 card in this ryzen system but that also didn't get any post.

I have built PC's for myself for over 20 years now, but this issue got me completely stumped.

From what you are saying there it sounds like a faulty motherboard PCI-E slot, if you have tried other cards in the same motherboard and get the same issue but said cards work on other systems then sadly it seems like its a DOA slot so RMA time for motherboard.

Hope you get your issue sorted!

According to:

Your motherboard has onboard graphics.

But your cpu does not.

If you have an older supported ryzen maybe you could try onboard graphics?

That is ofc an option, though I was hoping it wouldn't come to that as I got the parts just today.

Don't have any older Ryzen cpu's, else ofc I would be testing that. Current system is Intel 5th gen, hence the upgrade to Ryzen.
