How do i stop a Windows update

So i accidentally pressed to download a old gpu driver on windows update and now i cant stop it and its asking for a restart to install it please how do i stop it?

Maybe go to a restore point prior to the day you installed old gpu driver.

Uninstall old gpu driver and install proper gpu driver.

Turn off the PC while its trying to d/l old gpu driver.

If it's just updating the Windows generic display driver it's not really an issue. Just let it continue. Once it's done then install the latest version from Nvidia or AMD depending on graphic card since it will take priority over the generic Windows one.

 

Use DDU to uninstall beforehand if you want to be extra thorough.
