What CPU do you have? Most likely what is happening is that you have integrated graphics and that's why it's working when you plug a cable into your motherboard. I dont see why this would be dangerous... The way you worded you question is confusing me.

I have core i5 4590s and its gpu hd4600 is very weak but i can play games on high settings without plugging my cable into gpu

I dont see any reason this would be 'dangerous' just make sure your power supply can handle what your doing :)
