PC won't boot to windows

So my friend gave me his ancient rig. I decided to fiddle around with it. I plugged my own SSD with Windows into the rig, but it doesn't boot into windows? It is recognized in BIOS. Boot priority also says it does the SSD first. Yet when I boot it says; "reboot and select proper boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key. 

 

What should I do?

What should I do?

If it is an old pc, it might be setup as legacy boot and your Windows is installed in UEFI. Try to find legacy/UEFI settings in BIOS to enable both (could also be named CSM/UEFI mode) and if it does not support UEFI, clean install it.

Good one. Legacy + UEFI was selected as boot mode so that's not it..

It is recognised in BIOS, what happens if you select it when you open the boot menu?

I think I've found it. Changed the boot options around. Don't know why that worked. But it worked.

What is the boot priority now? You mentioned the SSD was already first?

Something with UEFI Boot Manager. That was now 1st and the SSD 2nd.

you change Secure boot disable to enable to fix this right?
