Sharing Apps Between Users

Hi all,

 

My brother has Forza 4 downloaded through the Microsoft Store on his account on my computer. I also own it, but can't play it unless I download it on my account, and I would really rather not download an 80gb game twice. I doesn't show up at all on my account at all.

I've tried to find a solution, but googling seems to only find people trying to share apps between Microsoft accounts, not between Windows users. Is there any way we can share the install between us?

it sounds like your accounts are independent and not part of a "Family Group" which would let you log into your account, however I don't know if the store uses a common install location or if it is under your specific user account. Typically it's in a common folder in Program Files but I can't confirm.
