hi everyone :),

I have a z77 MSI Mpower board but since i am using it it makes this weird sounds every couple seconds. Everything else works fine i guess.

PS: the people in teamspeak can hear them too, but i also can hear the noises while i don't wearing my headset

It is like a coil whine.

And i don't think that it can be se psu because i had a other mobo in my system before and i hadn't this noises

Well thats the thing with coil whine is it can be caused for really weird reasons. Try and turn your fans off and listen to see exactly where it is coming from. If it is coming from the motherboard then it could be why your friends can hear it over chat in which case you should RMA the board or get a soundcard which would stop it the interference.

UPDATE: i removed the graphicscard and the weird sounds disappeared but after i put it back in the sounds appeared again.

Typically that means it's the graphics card whining not the board. What card is it, and is it a reference design? (Reference cards tend to whine more than 3rd party PCB cards)

| CPU: Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.26v | GPU: AMD R9 290X @ 1090MHz |

| RAM: 2x4GB Samsung Green @ 2133MHz OC |

| PSU: Corsair RM850 | Case: Fractal Design Define R4 |

No it's a XFX 7870 Ghz Edition with a custom cooler. But if it is the graphicscard, people in TeamSpeak or skype wouldn't hear it too or?
