On every single video I watch weather it is vevo video or just any video. My screen freezes for a second when watching a video or playing games but in general it freezes up even when typing the screen will freeze for a second. I think this is due to the new graphics update 14.2 on amd 7970 ghz. Before I was on 1160 mhz core stable but after the update it was no longer stable and I had to revert back to the 1100 mhz default I did the same with the oced memory clock of 1600 mhz which had to be clocked back down to 1500 mhz. Is this a graphics card problem, graphics software problem?

Check the refresh rate of your monitor. I had this problem and even though it is suppose to be 60hz I had to set my computer to 59hz for it to be smooth, no idea why.

Roll back to 14.1 or use the stable drivers, i remember reading somewhere that 14.2 was giving problems to some cards

I think your right I have been getting errors with OC also and my core clock won't stay 1100 mhz. But question When uninstalling the Graphics card drivers which ones do you uninstall in the custom uninstall? I am using a AMD cpu gpu and the system drivers and graphics are linked. (I def do not want to uninstall any system drivers) @SkulD

I would just un-install everything with using the standard Catalyst uninstaller, since you'll be re installing everything again.

You can always choose custom uninstall and select only the graphics and hdmi drivers.

I strongly advice that you do NOT install the hdmi sound driver, because i have seen that it causes cobflicts with the onboard audio which causes pergormance problems as well as video driver crashes.

Im terribly sorry for the late reply, buy have been very busy with work lately.
