looking for a spare NVME ssd as they tend to be the same price as a Sata SSD

and my plan is to get one NVME or 2x1tb Sata SSD but most likely will go NVME as i can use an adapter to 4x PCIE and save the 2 sata ports on my motherboard

main question a DRAMless NVME SSD for a Steam Library or DRAM,i found a few OEM sub $200 2tb or 1.6tb NVME ssd im sure i could find a cheaper one

or has NVME drives changed so much where you dont need a Cache anymore and its all done on a SLC cache then the rest of the TLC memory picks up the rest, so much research not enough Linus videos

dramless ssds are fine for games and desktop use, the performance is more than enough for almost all consumer users.

That 1.6tb is likely a used enterprise drive. I got a 3.2tb pm1725 for about $260, and its a bit older, but was the faster datacenter ssds aroudn 4 years ago. They do run pretty hot though

i got a spare 92mm blue led fan currently installed in my system to help with the natural convection of heat and the item i saw seem to had a exposed die like a GPU
