1. Synology or Qnap? (2 bay)

2. Ext4 or btrfs (i want the safer one for my files)

3. Which HDD (First i thought Ironwolf Pro because they are just a little bit more expensive than non pro. But then i looked on the Ultrastar 8tb and they should be more reliable)

1. Doesn't really matter, I personally have a few synologys I manage and they all work well.

 

2. btrfs has features like snapshots, and checksumming which are nice. Thats what id use

 

3. Doesn't really matter. Id shuck externals to save buck, but otherwise ironwolfs and red plus drives will work fine.

 

Don't try to get the most reliable nas, make good backups so if it fails you don't lose data.

Depends on your goal and needs, but cloud storage, anouther nas, and external hdds are your best option.
