HELP!

So I just finished building my pc and I installed windows and everything is working but for some reason my monitor keeps turning on and off for like 3 seconds then it comes on again it does this in a cycle and then It stops and starts doing it again.So I just want to know if its a problem with my graphics card or something else. I Checked if the cable was loose and it wasn't so I don't see where the problem could be.

So Windows boots up, just your monitor is flickering?
Is it a defined cycle (like on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds), or is it random?

If it's a defined cycle you might have a really weird driver error.

If it's random, try a different port.

yea I tried a different port and it worked.
