Windows VRR and G-sync compatibility question

Teletha

Hey, im thinking of getting the 6900xt but im not too sure how it will play with the VRR on my old (XB270HU) G-sync display. Would i have to get a new display to get functioning VRR or will the windows VRR thing work (pic bellow)?

I'm a bit torn if i should keep my 3090 strix or replace it with the 6900xt only thing keeping me is DLSS, third party strix cooler & g-sync depending on if vrr works on my display or not and of course the true/verified benchmark numbers. I am going to upgrade to a 5950x so i will have the extra fps boost features amd spoke of too (if it helps that is). These launches man they are so irritating since i sold off my 2080ti i've been riding new gpus on return policy until i now got the 3090 but im not sure if im even going to keep it goddammit. . .
