The World Championship of sc2/lol

nickpc

At the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship, gaming superstars from around the world will compete for a total prize purse of 250,000 US Dollars in League of Legends and StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm.

The event will mark the first time that the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship is not held at the CeBIT trade show in Hannover (Germany), where the tournament occupied an entire exhibition hall. In Katowice the event will be held inside Spodek, Poland’s most famous sports and events venue, which also plays host to world famous musicians and the volleyball World League.

Spodek was previously used by the Intel Extreme Masters in January 2013, attracting 50,000 visiting fans and over 5,000,000 unique viewers on ESL TV’s online streams, making it the most successful European eSports event in history.

Important note: While parts of the tournaments taking place at the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship are played and streamed online on March 13th, the venue only opens on March 14th to 16th.

So OF COURSE the damn finals were PvP <_<

A lot of excellent games throughout but Blizzard really needs to get on top of Protoss balance at the top level. They keep winning these tournaments and the mirror match is just...awful to watch.

Case: Meatbag, humanoid - APU: Human Brain version 1.53 (stock clock) - Storage: 100TB SND (Squishy Neuron Drive) - PSU: a combined 500W of Mitochondrial cells - Optical Drives: 2 Oculi, with corrective lenses.

Yeah watching MVP vs. Kt Rolster in Proleague last night, Billowy (Who may/may not actually make it to Code A at this point) managed to all-kill Kt Rolster with all-ins.

Mind you, this was against Stats, Zest, TY and Flash, who are probably Kt Rolsters 4 best players right now.

Recently I've been enjoying the Shoutcraft Clanwars hosted by Totalbiscuit. All unusual maps and you get to see a lot of great players that often get upstaged in the bigger tournaments. They're doing like 10 BO7's a month between great teams.
