Budget (including currency): 3000€ (my idear is under this price but this is about the max im willing to go)

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA-Gaming (Cyberpunk etc on a 49" 1440p monitor, Video Editing)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I put together a Partlist of the Components I want to use :

Missing from this is the AMD 5900X im planning to use once it releases, I will be using my old 1080 SLI GPUs for a time being until I can get my hands on a 3080 thats not ridicilously overpriced (or the AMD presentation smashes em and the benchmark help them beat the 3080). Already got the Monitors so i Just added them to know what should be driven. The 49" will be the Main gaming monitor, the 34" is just for extra stuff like discord, HW Monitor etc.

Cant add the Ram into the list but planning on using this: https://www.caseking.de/team-group-xtreem-8pack-edition-ddr4-3600-cl16-32-gb-kit-metg-355.html (4x8 GB, 3600MHZ, 16-16-16-36).

What im Struggling with most on deciding is what case to use, as im looking for good Airflow to make sure the GPU and CPU are cool even when im OC, but also with good Front I/O if possible. RGB or Tempered Glass is a nice to have but aint what im looking for mainly. Some sound dampening would also be nice but I fear im drifting into fantasy territory here. For now I found the H500P which seems to be decent but if you guys have any good recommendation, please tell.

The only part i plan to reuse of my old PC is my 850W power supply  as it should be good enough from what I read to power a 3080 and the 5900. Also a 2TB Barracuda HDD for mass storage of Videos etc.

Some Disclaimers:

-> I know a fast SSD like the MP600 wont be a big Performance boost, but I want to be able to use the highest bandwith possible when copying files etc. Kinda overkill but IDK i like the idear

-> the Ryzen 5900 also is a bit overkill for a mostly gaming focused PC but I want to keep the Option open for later if i need more CPU power.

Thanks for reading threw all this and I am excited for any feedback :)

Remember that AMD is releasing the 6800xt that beats the 3080 in certain games, all while using 20w less and being $150~ cheaper. You could also go for the 6900xt, which is $1000 and has 16gb of vram and uses the same 300w power budget. The 6900xt also boosts up to 2.25 ghz and has a base clock of 1.5 ghz.
