SSD speed difference

toxic.water
Go to solution Solved by AndreiArgeanu,

I suspect it won't make a big difference, games that aren't updated or made using direct storage will most likely not benefit from these new technologies.

Since the new GPU's being released can decompress data directly, I feel like a SSD comparison needs to be done again for gaming experience. Thoughts?

My thought is, its not even launched yet.
Why not ask this when those things are released.

Until then im like, dont bother. But when launched i wanna know that too. And we will, just have patience. (altho easier said then done).

Or should i get my crystal ball again, and give you some peak into the future, just know its not cheap. 馃槢

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Microsoft is not dumb lmao. It's not going to be behind a pay wall, it's going to be part of the latest DirectX.image.png.1e8bbbdfff56c1e11dd52eb4d36eaadb.png

Probably, but I expect it would take some time before games start requiring fast ssd's.

Either way I'm going to be happy not having to have a dedicated m.2 slot for the next cod/mw game
