MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ventus 3X OC getting really hot

Hi All,

I am facing the issue of my GPU getting really hot, in the area of 75-79 degress celsius when playing games.

It is installed in my Meshify C Mini TG case, so a bit close to the PSU shroud, taking into account that this is a 2,5 slot card.

For intake I have 2 Noctua NF-S12A, with one of them placed as far down as possible, to provide as much airflow to the GPU as possible.

My exhaust is handled in the top of the case by two Noctua NF A12x25 pushing air through a 240mm radiator.

I upgraded from a GTX 1060 6gb that did not get nearly as hot, though used quite a bit less power.

 

Is the temperature just below 80 degrees celsious "dangerous" and if so any tips on how to lower it would be much appreciated.

 

CPU: R5 3600

PSU: TX650M

MB: Asrock b450m pro4

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb

those temps are 100% normal and 100% safe.
