glitchy GIFs discord

my discord keeps displaying GIFs like this for several seconds I have no clue why, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i pretty sure its a system wide issue, I use windows.

It could be a problem more with your Internet. Personally I've never had this problem. Maybe try using the public test build (ptb; the beta) or canary (Alpha)
