Ssd to m.2

Keizei

I just got a one TB m.2! It's time to make the Toshiba OCZ 2.5" SSD go away.

Now I can clone the drive like I've done before, but if input it in my mobo slot for it after cloning will it be accepted as the main os drive?

Or should I just start from scratch?

I'd like to not do that.

As long you set boot order it will boot from what is selected there.

While I recommend to start from scratch you don't have to. Just clone it, set boot order, wipe 2,5", install some games on that if you want and you should be good to go! 👍

Update:

I Got a new CPU and GPU and After reading the manual (And realizing my mobo is an Asrock AB350 not an B450) I found in the manual the the ultra m.2 only works with a few brands so I used the other m.2 slot.

Pc runs like a dream now
