Old cpu and motherboard compatibility help

So I have a old i7 4770k with no motherboard, the motherboard i had with it broke. (Asrock z87 extreme4) so naturally I looked up that exact motherboard and found it was over 100$ on ebay. I don't really wont to pay 100$ for a old ddr3 motherboard and was wondering if any motherboard with a socket 1150 work? Would love so help.

Asus Z87 and Z97 motherboards should be absolutely fine, and I usually find them for around $60.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Scan eBay for motherboard that have an I/O shield, unless that doesn't matter to you. All you have to do is search "Asus Z87" or "Asus Z97"
