CPU/Mobo recommendation

I'm planning on replacing my motherboard with a newer one that is compatible with AMD. I was wondering what's the best motherboard and AMD processor I could purchase for under $300 total that would go well with my other parts.

 

Specs:

MOBO: Thimphu-K

Processor: i5-7400

GPU: GeForce GTX 1070

RAM: 16gb

I'd say a Ryzen 3600 and then either a B450 or B550 motherboard.

There’s a VRM tierlist on the site that can tell you what motherboard can handle what chip

 

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
