Nvidia Create Custom Resolution Greyed out

Hi, I'm trying to help a friend set up a custom resolution, but the button is greyed out. To be specific, they did turn off DSR and the scaling. The Customize button was clickable and the next window came up, but "Create Custom Resolution" was greyed out and we can't tell why.

Just a guess but is it possible because your monitor does not support the resolution your attempting???

We can't even get to the point of attempting a resolution. This is on my PC, but on theirs, the button to create the resolution is greyed out.image.png.22766159e568786a2b6d9eee1cbb9302.png
