i dont really need to tell cuz i tried every possible thing u could ever think of

We can only help you if you are willing to give us info. Reflashing the bios will do exactly nothing. It's not magically gonna work better. If the xmp profile for your ram doesn't work try one below it or manually enter the timings and everything yourself.

asus prime b450mk

ryzen 5 3400g

hyperx fury rgb 16gb 8gb*2 @3200mhz (runs at 2400mhz idk y)

seagate barracudea 1tb 7200rpm hdd

vega 11 igpu

zalman wattbit 500w 83+ psu

i tired xmp/docp, i tried 2666 mhz i tried changing timings, dram voltage, everything u could ever think of, resetting bios etc..

nothing works, as soon as i change ram speed above 2400mhz the pc shuts down and needs a bios reset.

bios is up to date and no faulty in the pc parts as the pc is new and i could play games on properly and no glitches or ,malfunctions. what could possibly be the reason to this?? my ram runs at 2400mhz and i cant change it to the advertised 3200mhz

Tried 2933? usually the magic number. Also are they in the correct slots?

Even tho the psu is garbage tier firehazard stuff I doubt that could be the issue but I won't rule it out.

wym garbage tier fire hazzard psu, is it that bad?

Yeah it is. It's just a rebaged mass produced cheapo unit with a light in it. It's been around under different names (same psu just rebadged and bad) for a long time. I would replace that regardless of the ram problem.

Take a look at the psu tier list and pick a b tier or higher unit.

Yup nothing will happen. It's not like a program you aren't installing anything you are flashing a piece of code onto a chip. Essentially burning code into a chip it either works or it doesn't it doesn't have a inbetween state. However you aren't on some beta bios are you?

i dont really think they r rebadged cheapo psus, Zalman powersupplies are made by FSP, the same manufacturer that makes a lot of the BeQuiet! and Coolermaster power supplies for example

Zalman does not only use fsp. They source their psu's from everywhere. Also fsp has a LOT and I do mean a LOT of bad psu's they put out too. You just don't hear about them because they are usually not badged FSP but some other cheapo brand. Also 27$ for a psu is a dead giveaway that it's crap. No decent psu is that cheap ever.

With beta bios I mean the bios you got from the website that you updated too. A beta bios can have issues with ram or other components due to them not being fully tested or ready.

Also to answer you. Yes the psu is really bad if you do the math of what the labels say you never ever get to any of the wattages list which is another giveaway that they really did not put any effort into this psu and just put a sticker on some random unit.

Don't mess with BIOS if you don't know for sure what you are doing. Booting at wrong point while flashing BIOS means you will brick your mobo.

You don't reinstall BIOS, you reset its memory or CMOS. You can flash newer or older versions of BIOS, but thats recommended only for advanced users or if you are having some serious issues.

E: Also threads merged. Please don't post multiple times about same thing.

You posted this thread twice, once in General Discussion and once in Operating Systems. So merged to one thread and moved to correct subforum.
