Which Memory do I pick for gaming Ryzen 5800

I just need help I plan on building a new high end gaming pc for gaming and eventually streaming. 
I plan on getting a rtx3070 and a Ryzen 5800x (if that cpu is overkill let me know, happy to save money)

With Ryzen 3600 CL16 is faster.

3200 CL14 means it's samsung B-die, get that only if you're willing to overclock the memory - then it can be extremely fast.

Well I do plan on trying my hand at OCing for the first time! What rating would that cl14 go up to and be stable? 3800? 4000?

or do I need more expensive memory for that?

I'd recommend checking Buldzoid (Actually Hardcore Overclocking) on Youtube. Overclocking the RAM isn't simply increasing the frequency, it takes alot more work than CPU or GPU overclocking and it usually doesn't give a huge performance boost.

 

Edit: Also, Ryzen doesnt profit that much from memory over 3600 or 3766 MHz, might even get decreased performance from going above since it's best having the RAM and the Infinity Fabric at the same frequency.

Oh this is actually amazing advice! Thankyou! I will do a bit of research into overclocking but I may get the 3600mhz out of the box cl16 . Is it worth getting 32gb or is 16 okay for this kind of build, I don’t want to bottleneck the CPU.

16GB is considered enough for modern day gaming, but there have been a few cases where gaming on 4K while having some stuff in the background might profit from 32GB...

 

32GB might be great if you were to choose to go dual rank, that has some benefits on Ryzen. And since RAM is quite cheap now, I'd say go for it.
