Hi,

I think that my motherboard is dead but I wanted to post my issue here first to see if anyone can help me. One day I was turning on my computer to get a blinking underscore and nothing else. I couldn't get it to boot to my Windows 10 SSD. I think that this a motherboard issue because of the following:

- My main concern is thay motherboard won't boot into the BIOS settings. I would push the delete key on my keyboard for it to just sit there, as if it knows that I am pushing it but it won't go anywhere unless I wait until a bit after I stop pushing for it to go back into the blinking underscore screen.

- I have tested my system with as many parts as I have at my house (which isn't much). My SSD boot drive works on a different system, and a different graphics card doesn't help. I have also tried only booting with one of the 4 sticks of RAM that was in the system, still not helping.

- I also let my computer sit for almost 6 hours while I was away to see if it might just take forever to boot, still to no avail.

- I tried plugging in a Windows 10 install drive to see if it would boot to that, and that didn't work.

Here are my specs:

CPU- Intel Core i7-3820

GPU- EVGA NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950

RAM- 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance, 1600 MHz DDR3

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5

SSD- Corsair Force 3 SSD 240 GB

PSU- Corsair AX-750

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks,

Landon Q.
