What is the nature of the lag? When you move the mouse does the graphics card still seem to draw frames just as much but the game is just slow-motion? Or does the actual rendering begin to stutter and drop frames?

Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port?

Have you altered any BIOS settings on your computer?

What motherboard do you have?

Are your USB drivers the right ones for your motherboard?

Is this a problem that has always existed for as long as you have been using BO2 on your computer, or has it recently started happening?

Does this happen in other games?

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

go into your gfx cards control panel if its nvidia and turn the render ahead limit down to 1 or 2 if its ati you will have to do it in the games config if you can.

also setting things manually in the games options will also help to some degree.

also make sure things like enhanced pointer precision and acceleration are off in the windows mouse control.
