Battery 2 not being detected

I had just restarted my Thinkpad T440s and sooner or later i got a notification saying that my Battery 2 is not being detected and try to reinstall it. i reinstalled it still did not work. could you help me? its a genuine also.馃榿

By second battery you are referring to the standard battery right, not the one connected via cable to the motherboard?聽
