Quick question. I've been upgrading my PC piece by piece and the final thing to do is my GPU, I'm currently running a GTX 1050 and am planning to upgrade to one of the RTX cards.

And there lays the problem, my main monitor is a HDMI monitor so that's fine, but my second is a DVI-D monitor, so I was wondering, could I keep my 1050 in my system and use it to run the second monitor, while using the RTX card for games and my primary monitor, or will I have to use a single monitor setup for a while until I get a new screen?

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Yes, under Windows 10, this will work fine. The only issue that may come up (much) later is a driver mis-match when the 10 series is dropped. That's some way off though, but keep it in mind if you end up not getting a new monitor for a while.
