Overclocking 4770k

I was doing a little bit of changes to my overclock today, and the temps seemed to be a little bit higher when I reduced the oc to 4.4ghz. Any ideas and if you have a 4770k what board do you have and what is your overclock?

CPU: i7-4770k @4.8ghz---Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth z97---Ram 32gb Corsair Vengeance---GPU: 2 EVGA GTX 980 4gb way sli---Case: Corsair 600T White---Storage: 500gb 850 Pro & WD Black 4tb---PSU: Corsair RM1000

CPU Multiplier - 44

BCLK  100MHz 

v core 1.15v

CPU Override LLC Extreme

CPU Override Voltage 1.55v

ring volt  1.1v

UNCORE - 39
