Headset mic not working correctly.

I have recently built a new pc, and when I connected my headset to the back IO my friends said that that my voice was doing a buzzing sound even when I was not talking, my pc is quiet too.

I have an Eblue cobra brand headphones( i know that they're trash).

Before building this pc I used an asus laptop with only one jack that i used just for audio on the headset, so i never used the headset mic, but one of my friends also has the same headset as me and his mic works perfectly, he is running an older system on win7. I've also tried enabling sound supression and all of those things and nothing seems to work.

I've checked if the connectors were all pluged in correctly, and the problem continues.

Should I buy a new headset, looking forward to the artics 1, or is this problem fixable ?

Is my hardware interfering with the mic ?

PC specs:

r3 3100

asus dual gtx 1650

asrock b450 pro4

seasonic s12III 500w

I don't think it is the PC interfering. Could be the port. I would say it is the headset itself. First off. To get good audio and avoid these problem occurring is to get, not a gaming headset. Please don't look forward to gaming headsets. Get something better instead that is a standalone mic and headphones. That is the best possible audio you can get for a "headset". What is your budget if you would buy new ones?

PM/DM me if you have any questions about audio.

my budget is pretty low, i've seen great reviews of the artics line such as the artics , i have a friend that has the artics 5 and he has no complains about it.

I will recommend the MH571's then. No USB 7.1 virtual bullsh*t and just a good audio experience overall. It's got a mic as well. They are marketed as "gaming" but in reality they are a reskin of the takstar pro 82 studio headphones. Which in reviews they are great.

Edit: Forgot to add, if you friend has no complaints? Has he really tried good quality headphones?
