Whats the gain look like?

Hello all.

My Razer Blackshark v2 x is not working properly, like the mic is really quiet. I have tried restarting my pc and discord but its still doesn't work. I also tried a different splitter cable with no luck. The mic works fine on my phone though. Can anyone help me?

@le_m_on I just had the same problem, and the mic was muted in some deeply nested windows settings. I got there this way:

- Right click on the Speaker in the system tray (next to the clock on the lower right side of the taskbar)

- Select "Open audio settings"

- Select the Blackshark V2 as the default microphone

- Click on "Device properties" below the volume indicator

- Next, on the upper right corner, click on the link "More device properties" (or similarly labeled)

- In the opened dialog box, switch to the tab "Volume"

There, you can adjust the volume AND unmute the microphone. In my case, it was muted (the little speaker symbol had a little "Stop" sign on it).

I hope this helps you or others that get into this issue. Took me a good 15 minutes or so to figure it out.
