my power saving and high performance gpus are both the integrated one

So i have recently discovered that for 3 years i have been using my integrated gpu which is amd radeon r5 graphics on my hp notebook. i tried a tutorial to switch to my dedicated gpu on my laptop which is a amd radeon r7 m340 gpu . it showed that my second gpu wasnt being used at all so when i went to switch in in graphics setiings it said that both the power saving and high performance gpus were the same integrated one . i need help switching to my dedicated gpuimage.thumb.png.e8838c9315c6f3309d9c0d7e5ff092ba.png

Check out your BIOS, make sure the dedicated GPU is active. Then check device manager and make sure you see the dedicated GPU is there.
