5500XT?

I've got an old i7 3770 system i'm going to raise from the dead this week, and I've got everything I need for it, except a video card. Don't need much, as the computer would be used more for processing photos at work, but the 5500XT seems like a pretty decent deal for $200? 

 

Can't really find much on it online since it doesn't seem AMD's been competitive in GPU's in years.

You don't need a $200 GPU for that kind of work. Grab a GT 1030 or GT 710 for <$100.

A friend of mine just bought one for a sandy bridge xeon build he did for his kid. Its performing well. He didn't give me tons of info, but said he was getting 83fps on metro 2033 at 1080P.  Not sure what quality settings. It'll perform on par with a 1660 or so.

 

If you aren't gaming. Buy something cheaper though. Even an old 660 etc will be plenty. But getting something newer would be better for support.

get a gtx 970 or 980. Perfect power for basically any game and they are extremely cheap.

Or nether, and use the integrated graphics of the i7

 

@Action_Johnson if you need 8GB of vram for something, a used RX 570 is as good as it gets value-wise.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B
