Tech Related Project Ideas

So I'm in a program at my high school called S.T.A.R. It's like a student-run I.T. program where we repair student laptops. We also have to work on a tech-related project every quarter, anyone have good project ideas?

If we are talking hardware, a laptop 'fixing' race! first to fix it wins!

 

if we are talking software, try making a virtual machine of macosx on a windows computer?

Do something similar to the LTT video where Steve from Gamers Nexus and Jay from Jayztwocents were given identical systems with identical preset problems and they had to race to fix them.

 

Or be the kid that installs Minecraft on the school's server.

Both I guess. The project is supposed to take a full 9 weeks but it can be longer.

Set up a Domain network, which would mean setting up a Server and use Active Directory to assign rights to various users depending on which laptop they log into.

 

Set up a linux laptop and have it join an existing Domain.
