Screen Flicker

Hey guys,

So I've just built a new PC and have noticed a slight flicker in the top left area of the screen. I'm using an AMD A8-6600K Quad Core APU BLACK EDITION with a Dell 2209WA monitor. It seems to be an intermittent issue, but is there most of the time. Does anyone have any clues what could be causing this slight flicker or some troubleshooting ideas?

PS: I've filmed a short clip of the flickering (the pink flickering above the tabs)

Have you tried it on another monitor? This can help determine if the issue persists in the monitor or in the system, though I'm pretty sure it may be the monitor.

I currently don't have access to another monitor, however; the monitor doesn't flicker with other computers or laptop which makes me think it's the system itself.
