@tautviux1668

Your eyes and brain are the best GPU in the world but you can't plug them into your PC sadly. :D

I'd suggest to post your full budget and the specs you have come up with so far, so we can recommend something that matches best. The most pwoerful card at the moment is probably the GTX 690, but i wouldn't go with dual GPU cards, so the GTX 780 Ti/ Titan black is king.

who cares...

the 780ti actually performers better in games because of the higher clock speeds

Stock clockspeeds mean nothing because of GPU boost 2.0. Plus if he wants the best GPU ever I imagine he would have some kind of fancy 3 monitor surround or 4k setup, so the 6gb of vram will make the Titan outperform the 780ti by a decent amount.

I play games on 2560x1440p monitor

Then just get a 780ti.

Your understanding of gpu boost 2 isn't completely accurate. It will only overclock so much even without hitting the power or thermal threshold. So clock speeds do actually matter, also the titan comes only in reference design so unless you watercool it'll hit the temp limit and throttle unlike after market 780ti.

Hmm.. What do you think about AMD R9 290x SAPHIRE edition with TRI-X cooler?

the amd cards will play better on some games because of mantle, but nVidia will beat them if mantle is off every time.

Single 1440p or single 1080p monitor - 780 ti

Single 4k monitor - titan black

3 monitor nVidia surround - dual titan black

Mantle will not effect you when using a high end gaming rig. (by not i mean by virtually nothing) and Mantle atm is not a good reason to buy a card.

If you want the best go for a 780ti.
