MOBO socket replacement enquiry

A few of us that poke around this sub forum probably could, but anyone who is skilled enough’s time is probably more valuable than that whole motherboard. 
 

Tentatively, I could do it as lga sockets are bga devices that can be flowed on and off with enough hot air and care. That said, I don’t think I would try that on a board that isn’t mine.

I'm certain if you search hard enough, you can find a used or even free motherboard :)
