750 ti is on low fps with my current rig

Go to solution Solved by Opcode,

After looking at some GPU logs of his, this is the results.

Battlefield 3

  • Max Load: 78%
  • Max Temp: 56C

Battlefield 4

  • Max Load: 78%
  • Max Temp: 53C

My conclusion is CPU bottleneck.

My current Rig

♦ CPU:-Intel Core i3-540

♦ GPU:-ZOTAC 750ti 2GB DDR5

♦ RAM:-Transcend 8GB RAM DDR3 1333

♦ Motherboard:- Intel DH55TC

♦ PSU:- SEASONIC ECO 500W

♦ Monitor:-Acer 20" inch 1600*900

MY USE FOR GPU IS JUST FOR GAMING SPECIALLY BATTLEFIELD 3 or 4...

I GET THIS on 64 player server

LOW 35-90

MEDIUM 35-65

HIGH 30-60

ULTRA 25-70

IS IT MY PROCESSOR WRONG OR MOTHERBOARD?

After this new gpu I am not able to play battlefield 3 on low settings it gives me lag so is it bottleneck? and before 750 ti I had sapphire 6670 ddr5 1gb and at that time i was able to play bf3 on low settings without any lag...

And If I have to upgrade my processor and mobo then what is your suggestion? I have $250....

Try some other demanding games. It is most likeley Battlefield's fault.

That seems normal, remember your gpu isnt extremely powerful so dont expect it max bf4 out which is very very demanding on your system, the i3 also bottlenecks the 750 ti.

If i was you then i would turn off AA and the ssao/hbao off and your fps will increase a lot, im just wondering whether it would be better to recommend you to get a new gpu or cpu/mobo, its probably more a benefit if you save up for the R9 280(non x) as long as its price isnt over $300 you stould be good to go, the cpu does need to be changed but the gpu will make a bigger difference in my opinion.

The 750ti is not the most powerful card and your CPU is also pretty outdated.

The GTX 750 Ti can run BF4 multiplayer at Ultra settings @ 1280x720.

Do this and post back.

  1. Download GPU-Z
  2. Run it and go to the "Sensors" tab
  3. Look for "Log to file"
    Capture.png
  4. Check it, when prompted save it to your desktop, and leave GPU-Z running
  5. Load Battlefield 3/4 and login and connect to a multiplayer server
  6. Play for 10-15 minutes ingame then logout
  7. Close GPU-Z and upload the log file so we can look at it

You should check your CPU usage, 64 player multiplayer BF is really taxing on the CPU.

looks like the gpu is botlenecked by the cpu
