270x vs 280x

Hello, i have this question about which card should i buy?

The asus 270x with bf4 ====> 197 GBP

or

the asus 280x which i will buy from  a friend.

 

I have  a psu 450W.

 

Now, which should i buy and what khs will the have?

 

 

Also i am considering getting the matrix r9 280x for ==> 290 GBP

What PSU exactly do you have? If it's a good one, mining with a 280X can be a good option. But when i mined with my gigabyte 280X i usually put through 380W. You might have to do some undervolting to not run into PSU bottlenecks.

i dont know about the khs (i dont mine) but if you dont have enough power go with the 270x or  270

thanks. But this are the averages, the khs can change cause for matrix i saw that it has a khs of 800

and the 270x of 470

 

So there is no need to buy a 280x for mining unless you will be using it for gaming??

 

Also does the normal matrix has any difference with the patinum one?
